Dave Rowell is opening up his big yellow barn again this year for a springtime family-friendly party you won’t want to miss.

On May 19, dance the night away to live music by The Starline Rhythm Boys; choose a dining option among three local vendors – Back Road BBQ, Caja Madera Taco Truck and The Craftsbury General Store; enjoy craft beer from Lost Nation Brewing and craft cocktails from Caledonia Spirits prepared by Blackbird Bar; and bid on local items and services at a live and silent auction.

All proceeds will benefit Craftsbury Public Library and Craftsbury Chamber Players, two local organizations that serve our community’s minds and spirits. Suggested donation to attend is $10 with children 12 and under free.

Last year, over 500 people attended the inaugural Big Yellow Barn Dance. With ample parking behind the barn, increased vendor space and more food offerings, organizers are ready to welcome even more partygoers in 2018.

Barn doors open at 6 p.m. at 42 Whetstone Brook Road in East Craftsbury. The band will get the place jumping at 7 p.m. and will play until 10 p.m.

For more information contact the Craftsbury Public Library at (802) 586-9683 or the Craftsbury Chamber Players at (802) 525-6535.
