The Craftsbury Public Library's annual book sale will be held on July 14 and 15, the same weekend as Antiques and Uniques on Craftsbury Common. With thousands of books available for sale, there is something for everyone: new fiction and classics, history, travel, art, how-to, poetry, cookbooks, Vermont and regional titles. There will be a large selection of children's books, from picture books to chapter books. There is a wide selection of movies and some audio books available as well. After last year’s success with book sale by donation, the sale will continue in this format. Shoppers can browse through the offerings, choose what they would like, and pay what they think is fair. The library has two goals for this sale, to raise funds for the library operations, and to move the books on to appreciative homes. Rather than set an arbitrary price for each book to meet those goals the customer can balance the two goals and find their own price. That said, Sunday is "half-price" day, so come back and haul away great books on Sunday!
