The annual Northern Vermont University-Johnson Drop and Swap event will start May 3, when the public may donate used clothing and household items in good condition noon-6 p.m. at the SHAPE gym on campus.

On May 4, 9-11 a.m., members of the community may take home as many items as they want for free from SHAPE. People who want items should bring bags.

In addition to clothing, appropriate items for donation include sheets, towels, curtains, and non-electric kitchenware, including eating, baking and cooking utensils. Toys and books will not be accepted.

Drop and Swap is coordinated by NVU-Johnson’s SERVE community service office.
