The annual Plant Sale fundraiser for the Craftsbury Public Library will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 9AM-1PM.  The sale will be held in the basement of the Church on the Common.  There will bean excellent selection of perennial plants, locally grown, donated by neighbors, and reliably hardy in this area.  There are also some great shrubs and small trees such as lilacs, forsythia, and hydrangea available. 

A friend of the library is tenderly caring for 200 tomato plantsfor the sale, including heirloom, cherry, slicing, and paste tomatoes.  Local plant experts will be on hand to offer advice on the best plants for your setting.

There will be a concurrent Book Sale in the library with fiction, non-fiction and children’s books for sale.  There are some great new novels as well as old classics, plus some excellent new books on topics from travel to gardening to building.
