The 25th annual holiday ceramics sale fundraiser for Vermont Foodbank and Operation Smile will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 4 at Dewey Hall at Northern Vermont University’s Johnson campus.

The hand-formed, wheel-thrown items for sale were made this fall at NVU-Johnson’s annual Throw-a-Thon, which is open to the general public, and glazed and fired by NVU ceramics students.

Over the years, NVU-Johnson has donated enough money to Operation Smile — which provides free surgery for children born with a cleft palate — for more than 70 facial reconstructive surgeries.
