Celebrate the autumnal equinox with Northeast Kingdom Audubon this Sunday, September 22nd!

Everyone is welcome to join NEK Audubon's Laura Tobin and Charlie Browne for a walk around Victory Basin, a wildlife refuge and one of the jewels of the Kingdom's natural heritage. We'll keep an eye out for migrating songbirds as well as the species that not only stay with us year round, but are not found outside Victory's special habitat.

"Families are welcome! It's a wonderful time of year to get to know this special place," said Laura Tobin, NEK Audubon's youth birding coordinator, "with hardly any bugs to distract from the autumnal beauty."

Meet-up time is 7am at Damon's Crossing on the Victory road. For directions, or if you have any questions, you are welcome to contact Laura Tobin (751-7671, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring water and a snack, and binoculars if you have them.
