HEALTH CARE HELP at the GREENSBORO FREE LIBRARY
The Greensboro Free Library will provide help in signing up for Vermont Health Connect. Our local Certified Navigator, Ellen Gershun, will be available at the library on Tuesday, March 4th from 3-7 pm to help people sign up for health insurance. Assistance is by appointment only. Please call the library at 802-533-2531 to schedule an appointment or for more information.
If you need new health insurance, now is the time to get covered! Pick your plan by March 15th to start coverage April 1st. Remember, thousands of Vermonters’ insurance, including VHAP and Catamount Health, will end on March 31st.
Health plans are offered at four levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The levels vary in the amount of monthly premium versus out-of-pocket costs, so you can pick a plan within the level that best meets your particular medical needs and budget. All plans offer the same quality benefits, known as Essential Health Benefits, including preventive care, mental health services, and dental and vision coverage for children. Many low and middle income Vermonters will qualify for financial support to help pay for medical costs.
