Vermont Makers and the Craftsbury Public Library team up to present a second workshop for teenagers and interested adults. On Wednesday afternoon, July 9, we will be exploring e-textiles. We will sew LEDS into fabric and build simple circuits sewing with conductive thread. Participants will learn basic circuit design, explore the aesthetics of circuits and be introduced to the possibilities of embedding computational and electronic elements into wearables, architecture and home furnishings.
The workshop runs from 1:00 to 4:00, and is open to people ages 12 and up. There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required. The workshop is limited to 20 participants. This program is funded by the Vermont Community Foundation. For more information or to pre-register contact the library at 586-9683 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
