On August 17, the Abbey Pavilion in Sheldon, Vermont will host the second
annual “O” Show Memorial Jam and Concert, a tribute to the late MVU educator Brooke
Ostrander.
Headlining the concert is Nashville recording artist Jay Taylor who was recently seen on the hit
TV series, The Voice. Special performances by guitarist Forrest Lee Jr and Vermont based Dark
Horse band.
The festivities start at 2:30 with local musicians performing in a memorial jam.
Advance tickets are $15 and $20 the day of the show, children under 12 are free. Proceeds
benefit Donate Life Vermont. The event takes place under cover rain or shine. Cash bar and
barbecue provided by the Abbey Group. More information and tickets are available online at

Additional Information:
The show honors the late Brooke Ostrander, an influential music educator who taught in Vermont
for nearly three decades. Brooke passed away after a bout with cancer in September 2011. The
event will help raise money and awareness for Donate Life Vermont with a day of live
performances. Donate Life Vermont supports families of organ donors and increases public
awareness of the importance of registering as an organ and tissue donor in Vermont.
