Bryan Memorial Gallery presents a day of celebration as the concluding event of its observation of Alden Bryan’s 100th Birthday. Bryan (1913 – 2001) was the founder of the gallery, and a painter himself. An exhibit of Bryan’s art work, TRAVELS WITH ALDEN, painted over 60 years in 26 countries has garnered national attention, and the exhibit of 100 paintings concludes on Labor Day.

On Sunday, August 25, the gallery will celebrate with a concert by the High Voltage Barbershop Quartet at 2 PM. High Voltage is an electrifying Vermont-based Barbershop Quartet featuring close 4-part harmony. There is no charge for admission though seating is limited.

From 3 – 5 PM, the Gallery’s Board of Directors hosts a reception with birthday cake in Bryan’s honor. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend at no charge.

Bryan Memorial Gallery is at 180 Main Street, Jeffersonville, VT, and is handicap accessible. A preview of the exhibit can be seen at www.bryangallery.org and the gallery can be reached at 802-644-5100 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
