Rules for Daytona 500 contest

1. Eligibility. No purchase necessary to enter. The Daytona 500 Contest (the “Contest”) is open to U.S. residents, 21 years of age or older, except employees of WDEV-FM & AM, WLVB-FM, WCVT-FM, WEXP-FM and Radio Vermont ( collectively the “Sponsor”), other television and radio stations in the Montpelier-Barre-St. Johnsbury and Burlington-Plattsburgh markets, and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies (if any), members of their respective families or persons living in the same household.

2. Entry. (a) The Contest will begin on Monday, January 13th 2020, and end on Friday, January 31st , 2020, with the announcement of the winners on Tuesday, February 4th 2020

(b) To participate in the Contest, participants must fill out an entry blank at any participating retailer.

(c) Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries. This is not part of a national promotion.

3. Prize. Entries from all participating sponsors will be commingled for prize drawing. Winner will be determined by random drawing, and winner will be announced on WDEV-FM & AM, WLVB-FM and 101 The One (WCVT-FM & WEXP-FM) on Tuesday February 4th 2020. Prize is a five-day, four-night trip for two to the 62nd Annual Daytona 500, February 16th, 2020, and includes round trip airfare; hotel accommodations; $500 (Five Hundred Dollars) spending cash; and two tickets to the Daytona 500 on Sunday. Winner must be 21 years of age or over and must possess a valid picture-ID driver’s license. In the event the winner cannot confirm acceptance or is unable to travel to the Daytona 500 Weekend, he/she forfeits the prize, and Radio Vermont, Inc., will conduct another random drawing to determine a replacement winner.

4. General.

(a) Because value of the prize exceeds $600.00, the winner is required to provide Radio Vermont Group with his/her social security number, and an IRS-1099 will be issued for the value of the prize. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner.

(b) By participating in the Contest, the winner agrees to have his/her name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest, and to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of the prize. Travel companion must be 18 years of age or older. Travel companion must travel with winner and must also sign and return a travel release, which must be returned with winner’s affidavit of eligibility. By accepting the prize, each winner grants to Sponsor the

right to use the winner’s name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Winner and travel companion, by acceptance of their prizes, agree to release the Sponsor and its advertising, promotion and production agencies and their respective parents and subsidiaries, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in directly or indirectly in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any Contest or prize-related activity.

(c) Sponsor reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become effective upon announcement. Sponsor is not responsible for errors in the rules, their announcements, or the offering or the administration of the Contest.

(d) No prize transfers. There will be no prize substitutions or cash alternative to the prize offered. Prize may not be transferred. The prize package remains the property of Radio Vermont Group until an eligible winner is identified and arrangements for the trip are successfully completed. Offer subject to federal, state and local regulations and laws. By entering, participants agree to these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.
